The following list shows new features and enhancements in the API Management September 2019 release.
Subject to the terms and conditions of our existing contract with your firm, and liability provisions and limits therein, we confirm that Boomi has successfully passed all applicable test cases associated with the updates identified in this product release.
Release notes for the 12 months preceding the current release are archived.
|API Gateway||BOOMI-24998||Configure and manage API Gateway deployments through the Configure Server > API Gateways page. With your API Gateway acting as the intermediary for incoming requests, you have increased flexibility in routing of incoming calls, enhanced protection and governance capabilities, and the opportunity for the caching of frequent responses for performance benefits.|
To learn more about this new feature, see the topic API Gateways.
|Developer Portal||BOOMI-26160||Publish your APIs on the new Developer Portal so that your API users do not need to be users of the AtomSphere platform. Then, approve API subscription and associated API key requests as they come in from your Developer Portal.|
Within the Developer Portal, API users can self-register applications, discover published APIs, request access to an API subscription, and evaluate and test REST APIs through an embedded Swagger UI.
To learn more about this new feature, see the topic Developer Portal.
|Deployed APIs||BOOMI-32456||The prior ability to deploy API components from within API Management is removed. You must deploy API Service and API Proxy components in Boomi Integration. After the API component is deployed, the API becomes visible on the new Deployed APIs page. This new Deployed APIs page replaces the APIs and API Catalog pages.|
